Meet Mario
Mario M. Kranjac is the son of legal immigrants and a New Jersey native. He is a devoted husband, father of three accomplished adult children, attorney, and venture capitalist. In the private sector, Mario founded both a successful law firm and a venture capital firm that helps biotechnology companies turn their life-saving technologies into reality.
Just like President Trump, after decades of success in the private sector Mario felt the call to service. In 2016, he was elected Mayor of Englewood Cliffs as a political outsider, beating the Democrat political machine that had been running the mayor’s office for 42 years. As Mayor, he improved the quality of life in Englewood Cliffs by reinstituting the rule of law, fighting corruption, improving public infrastructure, and lowering government spending and taxes.
Fake News NJ.com called Mario the “Trumpy Mayor” of Englewood Cliffs because he took on Black Lives Matter, stood-up to Phil Murphy’s COVID lockdowns, and fought weaponized courts trying to impose low-income housing mandates on taxpayers. Now, Mario is the ONLY Trump Republican running for Governor who has a proven record of winning in a blue town. As governor, he will recover damages for communities targeted by judges, the legislature, prior governors and the Fair Share Housing Council.

‘Forever Trumper’ ex-mayor enters GOP race for New Jersey governor
Former Englewood Cliffs mayor Mario Kranjac has entered the crowded race for the Republican nomination to become New Jersey’s next governor. Kranjac, who announced his candidacy Sunday, told the New Jersey Monitor he’s a “forever Trumper” with unwavering views and a track record of winning over Democratic voters.
